What is the difference between the 92 accord EX-R and the EX 92 accord, i did a search and nothing was pulled up, so that is why i am making a new topic, and how much more horse does the EX-R have, and where could i get EX-R parts

 

As far as I know...my sis had a 92 white/blue int. EX-R...EX-R I believe originated from Canada...Engine is a F22A6 I believe same engine that's in the EX at most if any difference would be emissions...I also want to say either they all came in Auto's or over 75% of them...

 

thx, i appreciate the reply, my accord is a 92 white with blue interior, my dad was telling me that it was an lx, but the more i look into it, it has no label of lx or ex, but it has cruise control, and ABS, and from what i know the lx's dont have ABS, for all i know it could be an ex-r or ex, but i really dont think it is a ex-r, would like to know if there was a way to establish for sure the difference

 

The EX-R is the same as the EX, except the EX-R is the canadian model. Much like here in canada, our SIR civic is the equivilent to your Si

 

EX-R are from canada. You can also take a look at the VIN#, the first number will be 2 if it originated in canada and 4 if in the usa. Also the 8th number will be 7 if its ex and 5 if lx i think.

 

I have the 99 Accord EX-R version. I'll have to check the VIN for details. And yes it came up from Mexico.
