Ok, I have a B20 Vtec with MSD and I went to start car the other day and everything inside the dist. burned. I have the resistor wiring coming out of dist. to the external coil. They didnt burn but everything inside cap did. Even the big 2 wire plup going into distributor. Anyone seen this before? I have had the msd in my car for 3 years, but have had the unit replaced twice.

 

are u running all msd components or an oem dist.?

 

msd box, cap, coil, wires. stock dist.

 

might be the stock dist. , put a msd dist. in it
