i need some advice....how far can....
how far do you guys think i will be able to get with this build....
h22a4 block
Darton MID 89mm bore, decked, honed line honed etc..
89mm bore JE pistons 9:1
total seal gapless rings
Carillo H Beam ROds
Factory Bearings/selas/gaskets
Circuit works/pro-drive oil pump gear
cometic hp gasket
arp main studs.....
you guys think the block is gonna be reliable??? just need some direction if i should switch some things around before i get too far

I dont think hes going all motor with 9:1 pistons.

you never know...some people like to think outside of the box once and a blue moon
low compression might be good for something other than turbo

besides SC, Nothing thats not FI application will work good with low *** compression.

Longevity for starters. If i could throw a thousand into a motor for longevity I would most certainly do it! If it slowed it down a notch but lasted an extra 200000 kms with a lot less repairs i would be in heaven. some peoples goals are power, but some are to actually get more efficiency and more longevity out of their car.
my buddies 93 si with 9.5:1 comp(started build at 180000 kms)(was being built for turbo, ran out of money though 6 years ago LOL) has 311000 kms now and still running without a single problem. It will see 500000 without a tear down i bet.
I know "everybody" likes a fast car, but some people just like having a well running, long lasting car! (like me for sure). Don't get me wrong, i like speed (and not the drug) but having my prelude for the next 5 years would mean more to me than rice racing it all over town thinking its the fastest lude to ever spit rubber.

your post doesnt really make sense, You cant build a motor for longevity better then a virgin motor from the factory that has never been apart. So replacing the pistons for less stress on parts wont last longer.
