FS gsr longblock ATL
hello everyone
i am selling a GSR longblock form my 1995 gsr. it will include
Motor
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Injectors
- Fuel Rail
- Throttle body
- Alternator
- Distributor
miles on the motor is 192500 and is still in my car and running well. i am removing it bc i ran into a little cash and i would like a motor with a little less miles.
I recently took the car over to Acura carland that they told me that it had low compression. they just said from the looks of it, it is from piston wear.

i talked with AAP performance and they informed me that a compression test can be done many different ways and one way they did it could of altered the numbers in some way. the car does burn a little oil and needs new oil rings. if you replaced the pistons and oil rings i think the motor will run just fine. it does now. i put 2000 miles a month on it with no worries. i just have to watch the oil levels if i hit vtec some.
the price is 1000 obo please dont thow me some bs offer of 500 bucks. they go for 1800 plus shipping on line and i have spoken with a few people (mike for starters) and he told me 1000 is a pretty good deal. so keep the negative comments to your self.
the motor will be at MSP next week and can be picked up there after it comes out of course.
I will not part out. if you want to part it out you can. it is 2 much of a hassle to drive all the way to MSP to sell you a intake manafold. I am looking for cash to pay for some of the new motor that i just bought.
i will consider trades for
clean 16"s with a polished lip plus cash
turbo stuff for a b series and maybe cash on your part depending on what it is
TYPE R front and REAR seats doors
itr lip, or wing plus cash
the motor has been cleaned and is being removed next week. it will also be dynoed to see the whp on tuseday
