Si badging
I just went to get something from my car and noticed someone ripped off the Si decal near the trunk. WTF?
Last year they stole my front lip.
Should I just take the DOHC stickers off the sides, and be done with it? Or, order and the decals to replace them.
Some idiot kid was telling me I didn't have an Si because there was no front lip.
I am starting to think I should put DX stickers on it.

I was told to take the badging off when I bought it. I rwally didn't think someone would bother with it.
I really miss the look of the front lip. Anyone know where I can get a cheap one?

If I were you, I would just leave off the Si emblem in the back. Next time some kid might gouge your paint while removing the emblem. I don't have any emblems in the rear of my car, not even the H, looks cleaner with everything shaved.

Its up to your personal preference i know alot of ppl that take the badges from their SI's for security reason because the Si badge screams steal me to thieves but for me and my EM1 i would keep them just because i like how it looks also had the same issue some one ripped my rear SI emblem off but it happend that my buddy had extra so i put it right back on

most thieves are smart enough to know the differences between the models of civic, regardless of which badging it has..if the car is electron blue theft is even more likely though
i kind of like the badges and dohc stickers so i would keep them and just keep a closer eye on the car... it sets u apart from the dx and ex coupes and its like kind of showing off unless you have an ebp si in which u cant hide it hehe
IF I ever considered owning an EM1 the very first thing I'd do is make it look as little like an EM1 as possible.
Unless I could afford full coverage.

If it belonged to me I would be tempted to remove all the badging that makes it look like an Si. Then maybe slap an EX badge on the rear and order replacement side stickers so if I wanted to replace them later, I would still have access to them (it would suck if you wanted them again later and they were discontinued).

Except there's no such thing as a CX Coupe.

LOL
EX would be the best best. The EX coupe is the only other trim that comes with painted trim too. The Si and EX coupes look pretty similar from the outside (and even both come in Flamenco Black and Milano Red). The EX even had the front and rear lip and painted sideskirts as an option (the Si had painted sideskirts and a front lip standard, but the rear lip optional).
So if you want to pull off an Si as any other trim, sayig it's an EX is your best bet.

Canadian Si coupes have different badging. They have a silver squarish badge like the lower trims. Then again, people are still stupid and think it's a rare model. Or if you have a debadged "EX" they likely will still think it's an Si.
