Default new swap and now transmission problems

I just put a B18B into my crx si and now the transmission is leaking pretty bad. It seems to be leaking from the back like where the linkage is connected or above that. This is suprising because I tightened everything to spec. I have noticed that if let off the accelerator I can hear the transmission moaning and at low speeds if I keep a constant pedal pressure, the car will start lurching. When I let off the pedal there seems almost like there is a resistance. I took the dust plates out and I don't think it is the axels, but I need some ideas of what this is because I am away from home and my tools so I can't check it out by myself.

thanks

do you mean the sensor on top of the tranny that shows rpm and speed? It is in there good but no c-clamp on it. I don't know if there were problems before i got the transmission, it was already pulled from a car.
