Default Finally...new suspension and a few engine bay goodies

After waiting...and waiting some more, everything is in and I'm finally dropped.

I had originally wanted the Eibach Pro-Dampers, but they were on national backorder and I couldn't wait till July because I'm going to the track on June 16th.

Anyways, here's the list...

Tokico Illuminas 5-Way Adjustables
Eibach Sportline springs
Skunk2 Pro-Series front camber kit
Skunk2 rear camber kit
OEM Type-R Valve Cover
AEM air filter
Along with new tie rod ends and steering rack boots

Before

Notice the crunched in air filter and leaky valve cover

4x4!!!

After

The ride is stiff, which is to be expected, but it's really not that bad. I haven't started playing with the shocks yet, so I just set them all on 3 because that's in the middle between soft and firm.

But overall, I'm VERY happy...nice, subtle drop (~2") with a decent ride

Comments/constructive criticism welcome

And no, it's not going any lower...it's a DD and the roads around my town aren't the greatest

Yeah...slamming it just seems kinda pointless when I drive 70+ miles a day for school and the roads suck in my town.

The wheels were most definitely a budget choice...my tires were going bad on the stock 13" steelies and those were the best I could do at the time (paid $650 shipped). I like 'em...and to me it gets old seeing GSR blades, HX's, and Si's on all the hatches on here. And I like my stickers

Compared to stock shocks and springs they are

Does anybody have any personal experience with Illuminas? Do they get bouncy if you put them down to 1 for daily driving?

I'm planning on going with some Buddy Club wheels whenever I get another daily driver and this becomes my weekend car...and they were a budget buy (www.wheelmax.com )

And thanks for the compliment Freshly washed

I don't like riding super stiff on the street. If you go hard into any corner that isn't 'race track smooth', a single bump can upset your car and send you sliding. I learned my lesson once with my Omni's.

Deff needs to go a little lower for heaven sakes you still have wheel gap!!!

-- And I dont want to hear " The roads in my town suck" cause guess what roads everywhere suck.

It's fine if you dont want to go lower cause you dont want to or you dont like the look, but dont use that crappy excuse.

Car looks good but the wheels need to go they look very cheap(like you said). Everything else looks ok.

So there you have it some good and bad.

Roads everywhere do suck (expect some highways and "uppity" neighborhoods)...but I live out in the sticks where the texture of the road changes every half mile

The wheels will go later on, but hey...the current ones look better than this...

And I like the 1" wheel gap as opposed to the 3" gap
