I bought a set of camshafts and the guy did'nt know the valve lash. Called JG and they never pick up the phone, I tried to email them and no reply! Great service huh? I just need the lash specs if anyone has them. Thanks.

 

if i remember correctly i had emailed about the same thing and they told me 6 thousands on exhaust and 7 thousands on intake side

hey did the 6000 and 7000 work out fine?...is that for the valve adjustment?

when i use the valve adjustment tool ..the gapper thing....i only see 0.006 and 0.007 or something like that.....i dont see a 6000 and 7000...i dont really know much about valve adjust...just going to try it out...what kind of valve adjustment tool you use and where can i buy it?

 

i believe you set those to stock spec, even with aftermarket camshafts

 

that .006 and .007 is what you need

hey ls19....how much different is the car with the camshaft on?...still dont have time to do mine...going to try it next week....

 

well i did notice a difference in power but i also added the intake manifold and fuel rail and few other little things like that with it, the cams were loud at first until adjusted the valve lash though

 

i see...hope mines work out...
