i took my passenger side cv axle out and tranny fluid just started pouring out...what do you guys think is wrong with that...im thinking it might be the seal or something, but the car was in gear i dont know if that has anything to do with that happening but ive never had that happen when removing a cv joint

 

ive been hearing its normal...ive never worked on a manual transmission only auto, can someone confirm this?

 

yes, that is normal... drain it out before you pull out the axles next time... a lot less messy.
