Default Low idle problem!

Ok I have done the dis, wires,NGK plugs all new.I adjusted the idle screw so far it almost pops out.How long should you pull the negative battery cable off for,I pulled it off long enough to reset the engine light but my idle is still 400-500 rpm warm, maybe disconnect it longer?I scaned my ECM no codes.Everything on the engine seems to be in good shape except the idle prob.It seems like alot of honda owners have the same problem.Anything else I should be looking for Thanks!

Default Re: Low idle problem! (1996 ACCORD f22b2)

haven't done one on an accord but with the newer civic's you take the screw all the way out and clean the end of it and the throttle body. reinstall the screw and back it out about 3 1/2 turns. Usually put a dab of rtv over the screw hole just to keep it from backing out. Hope this helps!!
