wierd noise, something is loose!!!!
Ok, so when I drive around on wavy up n' down ..like little waves, irregularities in asphalt, nothing that would compress the shock heavily..., not hard pot holes, there is a cluck sound coming from somewhere around the engine bay, it is like something is loose.
i have been looking and the motor mounts seem to be just ifne, also i had a re-alignment done and the mechanic everything looks solid altough I have hard time believing him. anyway the noise started to appear gradually with time.
I also replaced my shocks and my shock rubber paddings..whatever they aer called, but my old rubber paddings had not worn out, the sound still persists even if shock and rubber replaced.
I lifted the car up yesterday so the front be no touching the ground, and tried to move the engine w/ a crow bar, no success, seems pretty stiff and well stuck in place.
The sound is very persistent at low speeds every time i go over small-uneven things, but the sound dissapears at high speeds over 60 mph and is completely removed. The sound still persists if I go up a steep grade hill @ let's say 35-40 mph, even when there is torque on the engine but as i go over 50 mph it goes away.
Again it is a "klunk" sound, not a humm or buzz. .
Any suggestions what it could be?
Any other suggestions? I think it maaybe can be the sway bars?
Any clues.

I just checked everything possible, the only thing i can think of is the rear engine mount, but it even seems solid. I guess I will let the mechanics deal with it.
You sure its not in the suspension?
Jack up the front end from the FRAME and shake down the front end (side to side and up and down) for any play. My guess is ball joints.

Versus lifting from under the strut (which is still part of the suspension and moves) lift up from the factory liftpoints under the body/pinch welds.
I normally lift the car up from the places where the factory points of lift are.
I give up on this thing i assume its the inner engine mount, i'll pay 80$ to get it diagnosed.

Suit yourself man, but you're lifting it from the right place. Your stubbornness is dumbfounding.
Read what I've typed. Its not hard. You've said yourself that it creaks when going over bumps. Engine mounts only get loaded/unloaded when you're on and off the gas. Go ahead, spend your $80. But don't come back here asking for help if you're not going to take the time to follow it.

first you are geussing from what i am telling you. B. i got the wheels aligned and the mechanics checked all the joints and said they are rock solid, i have had them checked 3x by 3 diff mechanics.
anyway seems like you are full of yourself. go find another thread to answer. this last reply from you was as usefull as a message in the bottle in the middle of the desert

You got it bud. But I did try to help, you're just not understanding what I'm saying.
Place the jack under the front factory lift points like normal and shake the front end down. My only reference to the strut was in saying not to lift up under the suspension. You also didn't specify what you had done to it. Either way, I'd check it out myself if I was you...you'd be surprised what a mechanic in a rush will/won't do.
There is also no way any of us can definitively say 100% that they know what the problem is without physically checking out the car. You're asking for advice, I'm trying to give it right or wrong. Sorry you're put off and hopefully you find what you're looking for.

Anyways I'm backing him up. This is a forum; a place to get help. Hey I go here to save some money. I really hate mechanics touching my car. But hey, if you got enough money and a noob about cars, mechanic is the way to go.
For me, I had that clunking sound on my dad's mitsubishi. Turns out the swaybar bushing was cracked and broken up. We replaced it, and no more.

Turns out it was transaxle, it was loose and bearings were worn out inside of it, as it moved around during lower speed (lower revolutions) it bunked into metal and made clucking noise. Replaced that no more problems!
I have 01 honda accord. I remember buying 2 pairs of 01 honda accord headlights on ebay for 120$ together w/ shipping.
Now i cannot find a similar deal, is there a website for it?
I am looking for oem lights, i just want my front end to look newer.
I bought headlights almost 1.5 yrs ago but they got all fogged up and also they are very hot when i try to touch them after having them on for 10 minutes, should they be that hot?
Also i wanna get a new bumper, http://www.carpartswholesale.com has cheap bumpers, my question is, is there a big differance between a CAPA Certified Part and a non-CAPA part, bumer especially??
let me know guys, give me some advice!

I replaced my drivers side, sine its the longer one ( if i remember correctly) .. but the passenger side might be going eventually too.
i also replaced engine mounts, sine if engine mounts are loose they put strain on the transaxle, now i can say there's nothing wrong with my car (atleast temporarily) haha.
