Difference between USDM and JDM VSS?!?!

Default Difference between USDM and JDM VSS?!?!

Is there any difference? I'm told there is in the size of the wheel and thats why my USDM VSS won't work in my JDM ITR tranny... Thanks

yep, they are the same.
it's the cluster and ECU that decide how many pulses it takes to travel one mile. (or one km)

well then idk why my vss wont work even after wiring it straight to the ecu. maybe i did it wrong ill have to check.

car is a 99 si the motor is a jdm itr and the ecu right now is a chipped p28 from kenji

then your VSS signal needs to be run from the VSS to the ECU then on to the cluster.

or is the problem that the ECU is not showing speed when datalogging?

i ran the vss straight to the ecu, i wires the signal wire to the right pin out, the ground to any ground and the 12v to a 12v source at the ecu. im no good at wires so if i did something wrong please tell me.
