wiring
hey guys, i wanna do a little bit of lighting inside of my car. What im looking to do is maybe get some neon tube wires and maybe string them around my back speakers or something of that nature.. just to give it a little something extra. I know where i can get the lights and everything but other than that what exactly all will i need? and how do i attach the wires to a power source?
I wouldn't put neon in your car dude...
this is about the only thing I would consider... much more discreet, and oem

Aftermarket lighting
Good to see you like the OEM
Wish Honda made red ones for the Si's interior I think it would be nice IMO.

I'll tell you something you can do. there is a lighting website >> http://www.oznium.com << and they have the best lighting you would need for any project inside your car. I don't have neons, but i have cathodes. What cathodes are are a lot cheaper, brighter, and they last longer. They are extremely easy to install....takes about 45 minutes to an hour. I can send you pics of my car if you'd like to see what I've done. They work with any car and they don't look retarted like those OEM footwell lights. These really add style to your interior and you can get whatever color you'd like. let me know.

if you have fog lights you cant have the oem footwell lighting too because the switches go in the same place i think. there maybe other reasons as well. correct me if i'm wrong.

It will only work on 2006 Si models with the stock switch, and only if they dont have OEM fogs.
For all 2006/wfogs and 2007 models there are different methods to handle it.
06/wfog - You have to plug it into another power source (the one the fogs uses is where they would normally supply power) and then setup a custom switch somewhere hidden (or not, your choice).
07/wfog - You still cant use the oem switch because of VSA, and again, cannot use the power spot because of fogs. Same info used from 06.
07/wofog - you can use the power, but still will need a custom switch.
It is possible to change the LEDs to red, someone did it on another forum last year but I don't have the time to find it.
This whole project is on my 'to do' list.
