Stupid plastic connectors
OK Here's a dumb question for you...how do you get those little connectors off that hold the splash guards on in the fenders/wheel wells? These connectors are flat and it looks like you can put a screwdriver on either side and pop it out but it doesn't work. Sorry for the dumb question...
It's just as you said - you put a screw driver on either side and pop out the center. They are 2 pieces - The middle piece is what you will pry out. If for whatever reason that wont work for you the middle piece can be drilled out. The clip will just fall out then. HTH

actually... in my 95 coupe, those little plastic things that hold the fender well splash guard in have a plastic phillips head screw in them that puts pressure on the whole assembly when you tighten it, so it stays in place. Get a small flathead screwdriver or a thin blade of some sort, and a phillips screwdriver. put the flathead screwdriver or blade under the screw and put some pressure on it, then unscrew it with the phillips screwdriver. After that, you should be able to pull the piece out without tearing your splash guard or working yourself into a cursing storm when you can't pull it off

I'll give that a try. I've usually ended up breaking them or just drilling them out cause they're such a pain. The pressure idea sounds good. Thanks guys.
bah... I'm always getting cars mixed up. The prelude didn't have screwheads in some places. The ones with the phillips-head are a lot easier to get out.
