"No spark" Diagnostic Flowchart
My friend's crx isn't getting any spark from the dizzy. I checked the black/yellow wire that runs to the distributor and it's not getting 12 volts. Just wondering if there's a "no start" diagnostic flowchart in the service manual, and if one of you have it or a link. TIA
did you use the HF engine harness? - the igniter wire in the HF harness is in the driver's side connector at the firewall which is different from the Si or LS harness which have the igniter wire in the passenger side connector - are you getting check engine light with code 15?
well this ls was already in another crx which ran fine and had no check engine lights. i drove it the day i pulled it and apon putting it in my car i am havin this problm and i believe it is the si harness but like i said everything worked fine in the other rex it was in... and i no it cant be grounds because i added and upgraded the ones i had

well long story short it was in my car and it ran fine then it went into a si and we used there si harness i put it back in my car with his si harness on it and tada here we are- so you think it is in the harness as well eh? thats what i thought. that sucks lol but thank you very much for your help!
here are wiring diagrams - notice on the right on the first picture, for the igniter wire it shows wire going to connector C212 on the Si and connector C313 on the HF - the second picture shows the location of connectors C212 and C313 - having done many swaps in the HF (i even have 88 HF) i know for sure that these diagrams are correct

hehe you are wise beyond your years my friend, and as of 6:53am the crx started! and now a few days of driving and then the turbo kit goes on and im off for tuning!
