i used to have a wierd starting problem: only when the engine was hot, sometimes if i turned it off, it would crank but not start, hitting the gas had no effect. if i hit the pedal a couple of times and let it sit for a minute, it would start right up... ???

the genius that put my engine in ghetto-rigged all the sensor plugs, etc. into the old crx wiring... it worked great, but sometimes the power was a little inconsistant. i discovered that my oil temperature sensor was unplugged, and didn't even have a plug for it, so i got a plug off an integra and connected it to the 2 wires of matching color where they went into the ecu.

now it won't crank or anything, it just makes a slow, quiet beep, beep... i disconnected my new sensor plug, and that doesn't make any difference, the fuses under the hood are all good, and there's plenty of voltage in the battery.

Any ideas?
