IS THIS SAFE
is it safe for me to mount my battery next to the radiator near the header. im worried about the heat off of the header damaging the battery. just let me know cause i have to relocate it and id rather not put it in the trunk
thats what i figured but i thought id ask. i like the way you mounted that near the tranny though. thats probably what ill do. damn cold air intakes. it sucks that the cold air intake always gets in the way.

ok i just did mine and i use a stock 92-95 civic battery and put it in front of the trans on the stock black frame and mounted it there use one of the battery clamps down and screw it in the frame it is going to sit in and i clamped it down like that wish i had a digital cam. I sits under the head light and have the negative post toward the front of the car the crx battery is oposite with the battery post

because to legally race at a track u need a remote batery shut off.... this is required if the batery isn't in the engine compartment
