JDM Front End help!!
I just got my brand new front end in from Password and am in desperate need of an EF7 radiator tie bar bracket. I thought it was included but I guess $2 grand doesn't get you everything I didn't get any screws or bolts for it either
Well here's where I am so far with the mock up:

Is there any way to make my ED9 radiator tie bar work with this front end? It's really starting to get frustrating.

If you want put washers under the t bar where it bolts to the car. (2 bolts on each side) Then if you can slide your hood latch back some (may need to drill new holes or make bigger ones) GL
U didn't get the bumper light or the lip 4 that price u should of just bought a real JDM oem used front end and would of been much cheaper but it looks good 4 $2 grand.

password is a good company depending on who your dealing with...i was fortunate to deal with marco... i ordered the entire front end minus the hood/fenders/t-bar/fogs/lip for a little under 1.1grand everything brand new. just go to auto zone for the hardware, you'll probably spend 10 bucks max for all the hardware needed for the front end.

I did get bumper lights, no lip though. And I bought the three bolts that go on the bumper to hold it to the support for $6.46 at Honda. I still need all those misc. 10mm bolts and I still need that t-bar more than anything. Someone has to know where I can find one!

For the record it was $1800.
For the record it was $1800.
T-bar's pop up on e-bay all the time. That's where I got mine from
. Just expect to pay around $100. I think I paid 70 for mine a few months back (earlier this year).

I don't think that $1800 is that bad for a complete and new JDM front end conversion.
What I do think is a **** is that it appears that the supplier (password) gave him the EF9 t-bar and not the "EF3 with Sir front-end" t-bar.
They had to know that he was doing a conversion and should have provided the correct part to make it a straight forward conversion.
Here is a link to a page that talks about the different t-bars;

Personally, I'd call password and have words with them about it. (it's not like they are new to what parts fit!!!)

Truth be told they didn't send me any t-bar. But I did call them and a woman answered; she said that it wasn't in my order and I argued the fact that I just spent $1800 on a "Front End conversion" and figured it would be included and that I can't "convert my front end" without that piece. She said "Yeah that seems weird" and played along. She didn't want to commit to sending me anything so she said she'd tell Marco to give me a call first thing Monday. Hopefully things get worked out. I'm still on the search for fenders too since they were all out of those. MAN this is taking forever I miss driving!
i thoguht stock fenders would work the same?? other than the fact that it does not have the lights...but hey buy it on ebay if you have to and intall them on your stock fenders....
but wow i have been dreaming about doing a complete jdm conversion front side and back to my civic for a while....it looks amazing man!!! wow! do they also have jdm rear bumpers for sale, and side skirts?

If you're talking about your radiator support bar, you can use the stock one on your car. Just remove the two 10mm bolts that hold the latch to the hood, take a dremel to the two existing wholes in it, and notch the hood latch, so you can slide it more in the direction of the firewall. Good luck!
I had my JDM front end setup like that for 3+ years, and no problems! I had a ViS hood for sometime, and it lined up very well. Also, had a paint matched OEM sheetmetal hood for the JDM front, it lined up just as nice.

I know stock fenders work, mine were both dented. I already have the corner lights. I'm just trying to find new fenders for a decent price. They do have the rear bumper, I am unsure of side skirts. I don't think ef8's even have anything different as far as side skirts go...

Your hood has a large gap between itself and the bumper. The one with the EF7 support has no gap. I just want it done right. I notice **** like that and don't want to spend all the money I'm spending to have something that I know I sluffed on. No offense to your car by any means.

I'm confused!
Are you saying that for $1800, you didn't also get the fenders (with the hole for the side markers already punched in the correct location)?????
It would be interesting if you could give an itemized list.
I was under the impression that the $1800 covered everything to convert to JDM by just unbolting the original pieces and then bolting on the new pieces. The correct t-bar should be provided. This wouldn't include the changes to the wiring.
(on a personal note; I'd have gone with the factory steel hood, in order to ensure the best fit)
I also just noticed that you have a CRX, not hatch. I'm not sure if that information on the t-bar applies. (confused by the name "RockinthEFhatch"!!)
