Strut Recommendation.
Hello my five lugged friends...
Ok, here's the setup:
'00 GSR
Strut bars FU,RU,RL
22mm Rear Swaybar
Neuspeed Sport Springs
16x7 Wheels, 205x45r16 Yoko A520's.
My car is starting to feel more bouncy through corners. I want to upgrade my struts. For this setup, what do people recommend? My search shows AGX's, Yellows, and Illuminas are the top runners, but does anyone else have any input/experience?
I don't really want to spend the money on coil overs.
My driving style is aggressive, and I really want to attend some sort of HDPE this year, (NASA Prolly), and maybe try my hand at some Auto-X'ing.
Thanks for your input!

Buy a Type R
Look at bilsteins also. Good shocks for the money. You might also want to look into heavier springs or going with something like Ground control

Always count on butnickle for the smartass remark...
Damn you...
The idea here is to match up the spring with the strut, since I really don't wanna change my springs either... I sent off email to Neuspeed to get their recomendations, so we'll see what that brings...

OK, one more smartass post
Your car does not have struts, it uses shocks or dampeners. VWs, and the front suspension on the new civic have struts. You also already have a coilover suspension. The spring is "over" the dampener, hence the name. What you are referring to is compression/rebound/height adjustable coilovers.

I've got a GSR with similiar setup to you.
Best thing that was recommended by Yoshi234 for me
was
ITR Springs and Shox in the front
ITR Springs in the back
Koni Yellow Adjustables in the rear.
After a test drive by yoshi234, he sEEmed to be happier about my GSR
-aoib0t, who loves his sus

Then how does one define the difference between a Shock and a Strut? I know of the MacPherson struts...
I've always considered a shock to not have a spring mount on it (ie spring mounts to a control arm/body) or a leaf spring of some sort, and a strut to have the spring mount on it. Is this not correct? I must do a search. I would say that a dampener could be a strut or a shock, since both dampen the spring...
How about this: I am looking for a damping device to compliment my current spring setup...

Bilsteins or Koni Yellow

Bilsteins or Koni Yellow
A couple of my friends have the Bilstein/K.Y. setup w/ G.C. Comfortable but not as rigid to the stock R's setup.
