Default auto to manual conversion about "custom tranny mount needed."

So i just read some articles on how to change over from auto to manual. My question is that you need a custom tranny mount... Is this true... I would be using the stock manual mount, that comes with the manual tranny i would be using. So i can't see any thing different in the stock mounting locations in the frame...

can some clear up this information for me.
