Default Non-USDM OEM foglights for 1998 ITR?

I came across this pic while researching ITRs. Are those standard non-USDM foglights? Or are they custom? I noticed this ITR has a rear foglight and wider license plate area. What country is this from? "Acura" was only used in North America in the late 90s, right?

Eh, I noticed the "H" symbols in the pic. I'm guessing it's a European ITR? Anyways, I think those foglights look better than the USDM optional 1998 foglights.

Thats a very interesing photo brochure add...

That's definatly a UKDM Type R. Europe was the only places that got a US front end with Honda Badges, and the UK was the only place that got the JDM 16" look alike's in a 15" version. I also believe that Europe and Austraillia were the only places that those fogs were offered in, and yes, they're OEM. Also the clear corners came standard in the UK while the US and Canada got the amber ones.

But I'm almost certian that the UK didn't get that front end until 98 as well as the US, I dunno why it says 97. Also I think the "Acura Integra Type R" part in the upper left was copy / pasted into it, becasue that is DEFINATLY not an Acura.

I'm curious if the USDM 98+ front bumper covers have the UKDM foglight cutout guidelines molded in.

Are there aftermarket "OEM-style" EUDM sets available? Those look so much better than the OEM USDM foglights.

I had a couple people ask about these fog lights a couple weeks ago. I went to the dealer and inquired. I was told they were sold out and wouldn't be able to get them. I had the part number. The price was a little over 400 Euro (around 600. US) Most of the ITR's I see in Germany only have the rear fog.

He is wondering if there were any copies, "look-a-likes" , "OEM-style". You said, Mr. Svonda, there weren't any more available, that's why he is inquiring about fake ones.

If you look around, i bet you can find a set for sale. Check out the back of the your front lip and i believe there is a groove to cut out for these fogs and possibly the same goes for the front bumper. Id also like to hear info on where/if these fogs are available.

OMG those Foglights lock so F*****g Ugly that near nobody has them installed around here.
It´s funny because over here the most people think that the USDM Foglihts looks a lot smarter than these ones.
Everyone wants to get this things who aren´t available at their Area.

I wouldn't mind finding the housing, and run some duct work to the front brakes. I need to find out if there are any bone yards around Nurburgring. It's only like 45 minutes away, and with all the nice rides that get trashed on the track, their is bound to be an ITR or two.

Am I the only one that thinks these are ugly? They look like a complete after-thought.

There is a pattern on the inside of the front bumper to cut the hole for the UKDM foglight housing. The lip spoiler does NOT have a pattern. Not a big deal to trace it after cutting the bumper.

Didn't you get those fog surrounds and use them for brake ducting?
