HELP!!!!! I AM STUMPED, Injectors wont work....NEED ADVICE
I just swaped a h22 into a 94 integra. The car cranks put wont turn over. I checked for a spark and the car is getting a spark. When I checked the fuel. Thats when i saw a problem. The fuel travels to the fuel rail but the injectors for some reason wont give the motor any gas. I even checked my spark plug to smell any gas on it, didnt smell nothing. I was wondering if there is a fuse that controls the injectors? Do you think the injectors might be bad? I need some advice
The prelude motor has two types of injector systems. One of which utilizes a resistor box which is normally mounted near the brake booster. You would have to check which injectors you have since if you have the one with the resistor box and ur not using it wont work. Sounds like thats your problem.
I got a muiltimeter and i measured the DC/AC Voltage in my first injector plug and it was 12.20. I wired a resistor box from the beginning of my swap. I still cant figure out why its not firing.
You don't measure voltage, you measure resistance, which is usually marked with a big ohm symbol. If you're getting 12.2 ohms across the injectors, then you don't need a resistor box, and the fact that you have one wired into the system may be your problem.
