Can''t you do that with what's already on it? I mean besides pushing the caliper piston back itself? Hell you could even do that and just replace the old pads.

I will be down to the wire myself! I was prepping my hybrid Teg LS since last week and found one of the tack welded bolts on front LCA on subframe broke!! OFG!! So luckily a friend found one and 2nd day air it to me. $$$$ Just got it tonight. Had to replace rear LCA bushings! That is more cruel then being at gitmo prison! Finished putting back together rear end. Will put in new (used subframe tomorrow). in this whole mess, putting on Omnipower coilovers, bleeding brakes with Super Blue, got a set of rotors and front Colbalt GT Sport pads, replaced most of the bushings and put on my J racing whale *****! Add to that pack all my camping shiite.... Also pick up dolly tomorrow....
Will need lots of beer at expo!

Dont get me started with them. Ive used (and loved) Cobalts for years, but this latest set of GTSports has not been right since the beginning (constant grinding, and trashed set of new rotors in 1.5 track days). Ive been trying to get them to send replacement set, but have had very poor customer service. I finally gave up and ordered a set of Hawks yesterday should be here tomorrow.

Interesting because I removed a set of VR's F and Sports R with some seriously heat shattered AZ rotors yesterday and replaced them with XP2's F and XP5's R with again brand new AZ rotors and have had nothing but serious audible grinding almost rubbing issues from the get go.
Only positive is that the car stops faster and with no issue compared to the aforementioned setup and most likely better than any other production car out there including the Exige with R pads

Jasma.... I feel your pain. I procrastinated way too long. IF you don't get to the fluid before Expo, I am doing mine there and we can assist each other. Much like last year. Wasn't that fun?

FINALLY!!
I just got the brake system back the way it is supposed to be. At the race last week, I got some air in the master cylinder & it's been a serious pita to get some stopping power back.
Now she works again...sweeeeeeeeet.

BTW Budman, how did that bumper end up working out that I sold to you a while back. Man, that had to be over a year ago. Anyways, just curious, see you at expo

Elaborate please, because I went dry on an upper fill, then rebled till pressure regained. And am curious the difference with the air in the system?

No Expo For me. I've got way too much work left on returning mine to a D-stock legal car. Just ordered Tranny bearings and other stuff to fix my noisy input shaft bearing on da 97'. Going to put in a stock clutch and flywheel while I'm at it and that should complete my returning the R to stock project.
Have fun out there and bring extra lysol

You know you're not alone. It's even odds my car will start when I turn the key.
And then you have people like Victor who cannot stop analysing things long enough to get something done. Last I heard he didn't even have tyres.

Dont forgot to get a couple extra just in case.. DoubleA is a smelly ****...
Couple exbos ago, I had my entire head taking apart and sitting on a self at this time. The expo before that I rebuilt my motor and then had to replace a main seal the day I was going to leave.. Still made it tho..
My car is on jack standings awaiting some wheels and tires from a firend (to drive down). Other then that its ready..
