Are both seals on each side of the transmission where the axle and half shaft go in the same size and part #? I am trying to replace the driver side seal on my 97 ITR swap where the half shaft goes into the transmission housing and the seal seems to be way to big, the guy at Honda gave me this part #... 91205-PC9-711 OIL SEAL (40X62X8) (NOK). The is for the pass. side so I'm wondering if they are the same or did he give me the wrong one? And if he did how can I find the right part # cause I searched slhondaparts.com and don't see one... Thanks

 

Ok so after searching I've learned that both sides are different. Now my problem is my local Honda says otherwise so unless I can find the part # for the driver side they are going to give me the wrong one again... Someone please help

 

I think I found it, 91205-PL3-A01 OIL SEAL (35X56X8) (ARAI)... can someone please confirm?

 

One side is 91205-PC9-711, OIL SEAL (40X62X8) (NOK), which is what the dealer gave you.

This is for a 97 ITR tranny? Try calling an Acura dealer to confirm.

the driver side # i got was from a 97 del sol vtec model, i was told all hydro b-series seals should be the same... the motor is a 97 JDM ITR using ITR axles

 

ok man i figured it out, thanks for the link but the second # you pointed out was the wrong seal, its #19 which is the same size as the one i found from a del sol vtec. gunna call around see if anything has it in stock otherwise order it. thanks for the help man

 

I'm glad it worked out for you. I only noticed the other seal, after I re-checked the part # you posted.
