Adding tach
It looks like I'll be buying a '96 Coupe without a factory tach. Is it possible to switch out the instrument cluster for one with a tach? Or should I just add an after market tach? I know that would be worlds easier, but if I get an aftermarket one, I want one that doesn't look out of place. In other words, I don't want a 5" diameter unit with neon backlighting perched on the stearing column. Any recommendations?
Thanks,

Yes, any gauge cluster from a 96-00 Civic that has a tachometer (LX, EX, Si, SiR, CTR) and even a 97-01 CRV will be plug and play into your Civic.
