no i was askin if this was true that 92-96 preludes came with a "F" series motor, and if so...is what i have pictured it?

 

its a jdm prelude motor. Im doing the h23 head swap on my car. Same heads between the f22b-h23a1. Id say its the best bang for the buck.

Yes, the 92-96 (4th gen) Preludes did come with that DOHC F22, but not in America. They did come with a SOHC F22 here in the states though, in the Prelude S model.

 

i just bought a 93 prelude and it came with a f22b, does that mean the motor is jdm? im so confused and everywhere i search, theres very little information on it.. what kind of head swaps can be done to it? and will parts from the h23 swap onto the f22b?

Yeah, it's been swapped (or imported lol), but reall the F22B is considered an H23 replacement engine. The heads are the same between the H23 and F22B and most other parts are interchangable as well. You can put any head on it that you could on any other H22, H23 F22, F23, etc... Go to the Prelude forum and look in the FAQs, there's a TON of info.

 

so i could easily swap any vtec head onto it? what about headers, when i bought the car, i already had a header ready from my brother's old h23, but now that its a f22b, i dno if it can fit?
