Hey I've got a 2000 Civic EX with 116,500 miles on it and about 5 days ago the Kenwood receiver I had in it would no longer power on. I checked all fuses and cables and everything seemed in order and I replaced the receiver to find it would not power on either. Then about 2 days ago it started stalling at stoplights within the first 15 miles of my trip, then no problems for the rest of the drive. I'm thinking alternator but any other ideas are much appreciated!

 

i had a problem like this and i couldnt figure it out, then i lost all power and couldn't start my car so i popped the clutch and drove it to a shop, they put it on a lift and found that a wire came loose to my starter. that took about 10 minutes to find and fix, they wanted to charge me 20$ but i told them that was insane, so they kindly accepted 5$. maybe some help, but i dont know?
