I wanted to slightly lower my GSR DD. I don't really want too agressive of a drop, I want to use stock shocks, and I was wondering if the ITR springs would fit. Also, are they any lower than the GSR? by how much? I figure these would be comfortable, useable on stock shocks, and you cant really beat OEM quality. Thanks for any help, guys.

the stock ITR shock are 10-15mm shorter...
they are also stiffer and are matched to the stiffer ITR shocks...
you can run them with the slight risk of wearing out your stock shocks sooner

gotcha. well thanks guys. I was just wondering about interchangeability and how much it lowered the car. That question was answered. lol im trying to spend minimal money on this. Im doing it just for fun. The DC is my daily. thanks for the help!
if you can find low mileage ITR springs/shocks, its worth it. only down fall is spending a little extra for the ITR lower control arms for the rears.
i had ITR springs and KYB 4way adjustables on my GSR. good combo.

Anyone got the numbers for the spring rates on the ITR springs? I've scoured the interweb and only found stuff like "stiffer than GSR"
Also, anyone know if there are differences in the 98+ suspension stuff. Apparently the guy I'm getting my stuff from has "early" and "late", is there any difference other than the age of the parts
Thanks for any help you can offer

Yes the ITR springs work fine on GS-R shocks, have been running them for years in my GS-R ever since the cage and other track parts came off/out of the car.
With just a 22mm rear sway bar as the only other suspension mod (and no front stb, forgot the GS-R came with one there for a second
) the car feels much better than a stock GS-R, and far far more neutral. Ride quality doesn't change much, if any. It is barely any lower than stock though.
