Obviously you've never seen the torque curve of a big-shot nitrous honda.

I hate that myth. Longer gears are better for boost or they're better for spray, blah blah blah.

It's all bullshit. If you want a good 1/4 mile time, get a short geared, quick accelerating tranny.

The only reason an LS tranny could be better is if you are putting down soooooo much power that you need the extra gearing.

i couldn't agree more.. even though i'm running d series i dropped a second on my time in just the 1\8 mile by just switching to a shorter geared transmission..

the mounts alone were proly $300 good find and dont worry about the paint it looks fine. put a b20 in and im sure youll be more than happy with it.

$250 is an excellent score for that car if the rest of it is as clean as those shots look. Regardless of what's under the hood, an '88-89 chassis with no corrosion is a diamond in the rough.

nice find dude you scored big on this one. don't let that thing rust and take care of it. best of luck on your project and a b20 with b16trans would be a good time good torque low gears nice setup for leaving the hole but it might lack up top.
