Default GSR powerd EF.. BOGGING QUESTIONS!!!! help me!

my parts list...
B18C1-
stock head and valves
Skunk2 stage 1 cams
Skunk2 Intake manifold/ and Skunk2 throttle body(68mm*i think*)
AEM Fuel Rail, and B&M or AEM Regulator(cant remember)....**never had a problem like this i ran it in my other ef and ran fine..***
Stock cam gears
stock block
stock header, 2in piping to a stock size muffler.
Crome P28 ECU, Vtec-5800, redline-8500
YS1 tranny

while on the high way if i drop from 5th gear to 3rd my car boggs at VTEC(5800) it sounds like it is back firing i am unsure but at the same time it boggs. also while i floor my car in first gear i still bogg at VTEC..

things i tried....

changed the Fuel Pressure from 38-40PSI without vacume line....with vacume line 46-48PSI.
*** can this be one of my problems?****

or MAYBE....

my muffler is pretty small its about 1.5 inch or what ever the stock muffler size is.. maybe the back pressure is what is causing my car to bogg.

PLEASE HELP ME GUYS!!!!

generally fuel pressure in any honda is 45 psi..

stock muffler size i would say is NOT the problem.. unless your cat is clogged or something, if you have one.

Has any attempt been made to tune the ECU? if you are using a stock p72 basemap, the stock crossover is 4875.. so

i would have to say that your tune is more likely the culprit, unless this is something that just recently started occuring..

Sounds like you need tuning. fuel pressure should be about 40 psi at idle with vacuum.

does that ecu have a knock sensor? if it hears detonation it will retard timing and bogg about right there.
