Default Washing The Fit

Does anyone know if you have to take the antenna off the FIT in order to wash it in the car wash? Just wondering before I mess up my antenna :-) Thanks!

I believe the manual recommends that you do in fact take it off. It's so easy to remove, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Why would anyone steal the antenna off a Fit, it doesnt fit on any other car?

put some loctite on that thing and wash the car yourself! Save your paint from swirls at the same time.

It's exact. And I know this because I have both vehicles.

I do know this antenna threads onto the 350Z also. And it actually looks pretty good on that car. I'm sure there are many others as well.
