On thursday I`m going to install my kw-coilovers (20-50mm lowering).
Does somebody have experience with kw ?
http://www.kw-fahrwerke.de/e_version/index.htm
I know they have great experience with the ITR themself, because they built the suspensions for the famous DTC-Integras which were very successful.
I was surprised the search function showed no hit on this board..

they are very good in VW and BMW. i am sure their kit wont be too bad. however, i would go for japanese company. because they got full support from the car maker.

like I said, KW helped the ITR to become a great DTC-car so I believe they know what they are doing.
I`m just wonderin how much I can lower the car with my 215/40/16 on.

also, i think a coil over which can adjust height without shorten the stroke is much better.
btw, does KW a twin or mono tube design?

In this case I would go back to stock... No worries here.
I know some guys who like them a lot and speak of great handling. I can post my impressions next weekend.
well, the best would a test drive first then decide to buy it or not. since everyone has different taste on suspension. or maybe someone like to take corner very fast but some dont. the standand of "fast" in corner is different between people.
just can tell u 2 thing:
1.those suspension will shorten the stroke when u lower your car.(good or bad depend on ppl, but i dont like this because the performence of shock is different between height)
2. those should be twin tube design if its make by koni. with this, the oil will heat up faster and get soften after 8 laps. and with less oil, the suspension heat cant decrease as fast as mono tube(more oil)
hope it help

Thanx, sounds ok.
My R will be daily driven for another 1,5 years. After that it will become a pure track car (which means swapping parts again) or it will be sold to Norway.
For this 1,5 years I just wanted a lowering more than 30mm, because I am running an overall wheel-diameter smaller than stock.
So racing was not in mind, more daily driving.
