Default found my sisters stolen car and wont show any sign of power HELPPP

ok so, a couple days ago my sister got her civic 94 hatch stolen then yesturday they found it, so i told the cops to tow it to my house but now i am trying to figure out what could cause it not to have any power at all, i put the key in turn it nothin, lights wont come on.

I pushed on the emergency flashers and nothing, i even put my car batery in to her to see if it could of been the batery but still nothing.

i was thinking it could of been a blown up fuse i dunno let me know what you guys think could of cause that.

Any help will be apreciated.

Thanx

check your main power fuse sounds like it is blown missing or they cut the wiring. Does the car have an alarm system in it ? is anything missing like the ecu engine parts/under hood fuses or relays? good luck who knows what they did

will, do i checked to see if all the fuses inside the car were there but dint check if any of them were blown up yet but id still have some show of power, i cant even figure out how they started it.

maybe slammed a srew driver in it cauz when they found it there was a flathead screw driver and a star srewdriver in the car.

well the simplest explanation is, does the battery still work, or is there still one.

if they broke the ignition and your are still trying to use the key i hope the switch is put back in place or you are turning the key for no reason...but the probly blew the main fuse under the hood i think they only sell it at the dealership let me know what size it is i think its 100 not sure but i have some i can send you one if you need it let me know

problem #1...use a meter to check fuses for continuity...you don't use a lighter to look down into your filler nozzle to see how much gas you have right???....use the right tool for the job. checking fuses by eye is friggin useless.

10 bucks says it a main fuse that LOOKS ok but is actually fried...and you can paypal that to me after you pay for that $10 fuse you blew.

First question, is the ignition broken?

If so have you placed the white ignition thing back to off and placed it in the broken ignition?

That way if you insert the key it will turn the Ignition.

Try jump starting from another car(I read you already tried your battery, just try homie)

Look at the battery terminals if they were cut like the ground and positive from the engine harness.

Looks for ignition fuses, if the guys who stole the car accidentally touched the wires on the broken ignition while popping it out the fuses would blow the car wont start up again. It wont have any electricity(most likely your problem so you have to go and look at fuses under hood and under dash)

Hrm

The main fuse is what everybody's saying.

I don't have much experience with trying what works and what doesn't work when it's blown - but would the hazards not work because of it? 'Cause OP said they don't work either.

Sounds to me like a broken battery connection. Does there appear to be any damage to the leads?
