95 del sol b16 in my 96 hatch

Default 95 del sol b16 in my 96 hatch

i found a b16 out of a 95 del sol and before i do the swap i have a few quick questions. since the motor is OBD1 and my car is OBD-2 what exacly do i need? i think what i need is 99-00 si harness, 99-00 si ecu, 99-00 si dist, and 99-00 alternator? i think im am not sure though. but if i am wrong plz let me know thanks.

I just did basically this same swap.OBD1 motor into OBD2a car. I posted in your other thread. PM me if you need help

NO! Use your stock civic harness and just add wires for vtec, etc.
The 99-00 harness will only cause you a ton of headaches...

You really want to use an impossible-to-find OBD2 P30 from a 96-97 Del Sol vtec.
Instead, I suggest an obd1 p30 stock, or a chipped p28 w/ p30 maps. You will need a obd2a-&gt;obd1 jumper harness

(you can use the p2t ecu...but you would need an obd2A-&gt;obd2B jumper)
