My buddy did a blue LED bulb swap on his 00 si

The first pic is showing how it looks from the front. The only place light is getting through is on the odometer/trip. The second pic shows that all the lights are powered and working (behind cluster shot). How is the light not getting through the numbers? What is different about the incandescent bulbs that is making them show through the numbers?

did you put the bulbs in the right places?

 

Try making sure all the bulbs are spun the right way around, most led conversion bulbs are polar sensitive. I'm not quite sure why you're not getting light transmission thru the lettering, on both my DX and EX clusters the led drop in bulbs worked well enough to light up the gauges a bit.

The only thing I could suggest as another option would be to get flexible led strips from Oznium.com and install those, I've currently got three in my cluster and they are alot brighter than the OE bulb set up BUT it takes a bit of work and a good bit of cutting and trimming of the factory plastic inside the cluster.....
