Calm down man. You can greatly reduce the risk of rusting by cleaning the cut thoroughly and using a coat of primer or something. They make these products for a reason.
Yeah the risk is still there. But instead of going off, you could've just said there'll be a risk of rust and suggest getting real jdm fenders instead. Would that be so hard?

I personally think they look lame unless the steering wheel is on the right side of the car....
