the torque specs on a b18b is 63 ft lbs for head. it shouldn't be too far off from your specs. if you cant find a pattern. your best bet is to tighten starting from the inside and go in a star motion (like lug nuts) and work your way out. vis versa for removing a head off the block.

blown head gasket = sweaters and jackets in summer time heat.

61 lb/ft is the stock head bolt spec on my B18A1 head.

Loosening the head bolts should be done with 1/3 turn on the ratchet at a time beginning with the outside bolts alternating sides working in.

Tightening, you would begin in the middle and work your way out alternating sides, just go to 20 lb/ft, then 40 lb/ft, then finally 61 lb/ft.

If your saving all this money by doing the work yourself, how come you don't go to the auto parts store and buy a $20 Haynes manual for your car?

Well, you have to have fuel/spark/timing for it to start.

Any one of those will keep it from starting.

Start with the basic stuff. Does the fuel pump turn on? Is the distributor any good? Blown fuses?

So many things man. You've got one heck of a project there

Was the head gasket blown when you bought it too? There could be so many more problems..

20,40,60,60? lol. considering anything less than 130 your engine might not start , your definitely having compression issues. make sure you hold the throttle wide open when doing compression check.
