Clutch or Tranny Problem
This came out of no where. It just happened while i was driving. The clutch lost a lot of compression when ever i would push it to the floor and the was making the clutch grab just about as soon as i took pressure off from my foot. Fuild the fluid back up and i tried to bleed it but i dont know what im supposed to be doing to relese pressure or something. My second problem is that i cant shift into any gears. While the cars off all the gears can go in. As soon as the cars on i cant make any gears go in. what do i need to do? I check the sleve cylinder and its not leaking.
did u pump your clutch and have check for pressure bubbles in your reservoir...if you've lost a lot of resistance to the clutch and the reservoir is empty. fill it up, then pump your clutch until you get your resistance back
Sounds like you have a leak on either your clutch master or slave cylinders. Check way up and under your clutch pedal for fluid. Also check near your reservoir and see if fluid is running down the firewall.
And yeah...there's a reason you can't shift. You have to get it out of gear before you put it into another. You're pressing the pedal but nothing is disengaging the clutch. Get it fixed before you end up stranded somewhere when your fluid leaks out.
You can bleed the system just like brakes (bleeder is on the slave cylinder). However due to the much shorter stroke you'll save a lot of time by using a vacuum bleeder. Parts shouldn't be too unreasonable and you don't have to worry about taking the tranny off or anything too crazy.
In a nutshell...you gotta find your leak

i had that same problem its not the tranny check the bolts on your flywheel there probably loose or some is missing i had the same problem when i dropped the tranny (theres 8bolts that holds the flywheel ) 7 were out and i had to retread the holes trust me thats the problem
x2 on the slave cylinder/master cylinder leak. Same thing happend to my car, i have to add brake fluid every once and a while untill i get a new slave cylinder. Id take a cloth and clean up all the grease ans **** on the master/slave cylinders and bleed the system. Then you can see exactly where your leak is coming from.

x3 on the master/slave being bad. The biggest indicator is that you said you have to refill the reservoir with fluid. It had to go somewhere. Check the slave for leaking fluid and look at the firewall around and under the master. Also check the firewall in the passenger compartment (way up under the dash).
parents took my car to the shop today and they replaced the slave cylinder and i believe its good now. But im not sure if they replaced the master cylinder. I found the brake fluid below my clutch on my carpet in a small puddle. Im about to go check what they changed. thanks guys

I'm not even gonna bother to flame you man. You can't read and just apply your issues to others.
