So i got parts being shipped already.. im getting ready to smog it, get brake inspection done + DMV check to make sure my car isnt imaginary.

i have 2 CELs

Code7 (bad TPS)
Code 41 (bad O2 sensor)

I already have a set ready to ship.. so those 2 problems are solved. The thing that's really giving me sleepless nights is the SRS light.. since theres no airbags the lights on... will i fail just cuz the lights on?

oh and can it be harmful to the motor if the car is running incredibly rich? (i smell gasoline as soon as i turn the key... and get light headed in under a minute)

and for the DMV check:
im missing:
Headlights
airbags
interior pieces

will they not give me a plate cuz of those? or are they just checking panels?

what year is ur car, and they shouldnt say anything about interior peices, say ur washing them

 

As long as you have covers for the airbags you should be alright, just go behind the dash and pull the connector that goes the SRS light and it will magically go off

 

is that something for DMV to check out? cuz i already passed CHP inspection and other salvage stuff.. thought i was clear for SRS its a 98 base (OBD2)
