axle wont go in to the hub

Default axle wont go in to the hub

the axle will not go in to the passanger side hub should i heat up the axle n try 2 slip it in or keep on bangin the hub untill it goes

I would find out which part (the axle, or the hub) is bad and replace it.

Why wont it go in? Basic question...Are the splines lined up?

Can you put the axle in backwords? If that makes sense to try and clean the splines.

it will go in....you are doing it wrong...
to make sure...pull axel out of tranny and put axel into hub to make sure it will go...without it in the tranny...and do that from the wheel side not the inside

did you LUBE up the hub and the splines? It will fit it just takes patience, its a 2 person job if your doing it without a lift, just keep wiggling it untill they are close, then start with the mallet

I loaded mine up with anti-seize and it slid in...just make sure the splines are lining up.

are you saying it wont go in as in it wont come out?

or you cant get it into the hub as in your re-assembling it?

did you have to pound the old one out of the hub? if so the splines are probably done. I just had to replace a hub for the same reason
