What is the difference between SIRII tranny with lsd, and CTR tranny, and ITR tranny? What are the different gear ratios?

Since the US 97-01 ITR tranny, the JDM 95-97 ITR tranny, the JDM CTR tranny, and the 92-00 SIR tranny have all the same gear ratios, if you get the SIR with LSD, what would be the difference. I got my SIR tranny with LSD for 1000, but the ITR or CTR tranny would have cost me 1200. How come the R trannys cost more if they are the same thing?

you know anything with an R at the end adds 10 hp and a coolnes factor of 7
hehe.

 

So besides the ability to call it a type r tranny there is no difference in them at all?
