Default What to do to my civic

My car is an 07 civic LX coupe, manual, 4 cylinder, I am looking to make it accelerate faster, and look a little more tweaked out but not riced. I have around $400 right now and another $300 coming in a week. So what does everyone suggest? Thanks in advance!

Well I am mostly trying to decide to do exhaust, intake, strut/sway bars, or just lower it.

your in the right place, you just need to search around and read a whole lot. these questions of yours have been covered before.

our cars (base model civics) arent really designed for speed, but daily driveability. some basic mods to add on our mini R18 engine would be Cold air intake, Downpipe, exhaust. NST have a pulley kit for our car as well. thats pretty much it for performance...for now.

as far as suspension goes, first thing that comes to mind is lowering the car. lots of threads on that, once again search. sway bars and strut bars help stiffen up the chassis, thus would make for better cornering. megan racing has quite a few tie bars, and other suspension products. (see sig)

looks and styling, its all up to you. what i may like, you might think would be horrid (unlikely).

lots of our civic products are carried by http://www.corsportusa.com check them out.

happy reading

Zex nitrous kit.. that's your only hopes of really increasing performance for that small of a budget.

I doubt you will feel anything really with just an intake / exhaust.

Ok,Ok,Ok......dammit. Just make it look nice and leave it alone. Save your pennies and if you really like Civics than get an SI next.

Hell, I drive an R18. I'm leasing an 07 LX. Why??? Couldn't afford an SI right now.

All that I've done to it so far has been free except the window tint, and springs.

IMO there really isn't a point in dumping a bunch of money into an R18.......at least not yet. Maybe down the road there will be good, solid, and beneficial performance mods. Until then I'll continue making my payments.

There's your first mistake, you should've got the optional 8 cylinder... Just save your money, buy an Si next.
