I am currently working on a swap into a 92 civic cx hatchback. The motor is an ls vtec with a tranny from a 99-00 civic si, b16a2. The passenger side axle splines are larger in diameter than the stock ones. It will not fit into the stock hub, but the driver's side fit fine. Anyone have any ideas or ran into this problem previously? any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

Simple, one hub was replaced before you bought it.

Replace the other side.

Problem solved.

 

what hub should i replace it with? i've been told that the ex hub will work. any other options? what will need to be replaced with the hub for it to work properly or do i need the entire spindle assembly?

 

does anyone know if it is possible to use an ex hub or do i need to acquire an integra or or 99-00 civic si hub? i was told the ex hub will work and im going to the junkyard tomorrow to get parts.

 

You know it! I think the EX may even have bigger discs than the LX/DX/SI, give them a measure and find out, you dont want one big and one small rotor
