Removing freeze plugs from an intake manifold
I'm basically doing this with an H22 manifold, but can't find a small enough slide hammer anywhere. What is the next option at removing those plugs?

The cyl around the plug is too deep and the plug itself is too deep height wise. I tried hitting it with a small punch at the outter edge and the whole plug just got driven down. Could I use an extractor of some sort?
drill a hole in it, then thread in some kind of screw eye or loop of metal on a machine screw. Then stick a handle of some sort through the eye or loop and pry it out.
