i need to get insurance on my 92 2dr teg. its 5sp black i like in hamilton ontario. ive called around alot of places and they want 5300 - 4650 a year and thats with only liability. im so ******* pissed with insurance places i need a good deal on insurance. my record is crystal clean im 18 in sept. im getting my g very soon. please help me find a cheap insurance company. im also interested in what u guys pay for insurance.

how about just not having insurance? insurance is insane where you live guy, paying that much a year is too high with the gas.

 

I pay 650.00 every 6 months for 4 cars.

1 full coverage
3 liability only

Thats too expensive, I call that rape! lol, thats way to much to spend on liability. I pay only $900 or so per term with AAA insurance for two cars, and both completely paid for. The first is a 2005 vw 1.8 GTI, and second a 91 DA. What did the terms entail for your quote?

 

At your age it's a lot cheaper to be on your parents' policy. Is that option available to you?

 

I doubt his parent's will pay for his insurance under their policy, knowing what his intentions are with the car, lol. But never know, unless the OP just pays his parent's then problem solved. But if he's under their policy and gets into an accident, then his parents are the one at fault since the insurance policy is under the parents name and info and not his. His parent's will get F'd regardless, but thats an issue the OP should take into consideration as well if he decides to go under his parents insurance policy.
