wattage of hid is 35 w...LESS than stock headlights
the integra is the best fit for the upgrade because of our projection lenses, civic's etc all have a really bad lens pattern that causes too much glare to oncoming traffic and doesn't focus the light anything like oem (so we basically lucky !)
I think the only mod is to modify the bulbs to fit in our stock housings, or buy modified bulbs off the net (warning, some are really cheap rip-offs with glued on 9006 bases, others are well made with epoxy and the focal lengths match that of an oem bulb when put side by side)
Just things to watch for

no, those cars use free-form reflector headlights with their HID's (using D2R capsules). The beam pattern would be all messed up and wierd if you tried to put them in some projector housings. Just buy a retrofit kit w/ D2S capsules (for projectors).

i know this my be a lil OT, but have u guys ever heard of an integra specific xenon or HID aftermarket kit?
an old buddy of mine once considered getting it for his teg. i think this was back in ~'97 and cost about ~$1200. it supposedly consisted of both bulbs and full electricals since i think it's a high voltage system...

Yes, Patrick is correct. The TL/CL's have reflector headlights which are far different from our projector lenses. Without the proper xenon bulb, there would be a great deal of stray light and the beam pattern would be all fooked up.
Beware. Buying an HID kit from a dealer would be a wiser decision. Especially since the cost of just the D2S bulbs is going to be at least $120 each(www.visualdynamics.ca).
