Ef D16Z2 Homocinetic joint
My name is Leo, 26 years old, from Croatia, car is EF ED7 D16Z2 (same sh*t as D16A6 ?) 110 hp SOHC.
And now, the first question...
Are the homocinetic joints on the 4th gen, on models : 1.4 dual carb, 1.5 dpfi and 1.6 sohc (mine), all the same or not? I am reffering to the outer homocinetic joint, between the axle and the wheel...anybody?

Yes, I do mean the ball joint, just didn't express my self right....thanks 4 the info... if you know what do I mean, my ball joints (outer ones) are making "the clicking sound" when I turn the steering wheel all the way, like "tok tok tok"....it's getting on my nerves.....

are making aggitating noise when I turn the steering whell all the way....like "tok tok tok"....frend has a 1.4 dual carb 91 civic that I can salvage for parts....I hope they'll match!

i agree....get under the car and look at the axles (driveshafts) going to each of the front wheels. each one has 2 rubber boots protecting the joints. if those rubber boots are torn, then sometimes they will 'click' when you turn the steering wheel.
ball joints are the little swiveling parts that are at the end of your tie rods, & upper & lower control arms. if those go bad, you will feel free play in your steering wheel, but they don't usually click.

I did mean the CV joints, but just didn't find the right words....they are between the axles and the wheel (sort of...), am I right? When I corner (on the small radius) I hear clicking noises, I had that problem before on my Opel
......just wondering if someone knows, could I use Cv joints from 1.4 dual carb....don't know are they the same, will they match?....
