I would move on that quick. But the price. If you only knew what they cost over there and what I pay for them.
I going to call him and see what he would do for it with out the swapp and interior. I allready have that yellow stich setup wrapped up chillen with the front seats. Thanks pops

Shipping from Tokyo Harbor to any major port on the West coast of the U.S. doesn't cost more than about $1,800.00. The prices are low, because everyone and their brother ships to and from Japan. Trucking the car from a Western harbor to say...New York isn't very expensive either.
The nail bighter for me in the past was simply the issues of getting the car through Customs and getting it registered. Though, in most states getting it registered isn't much of an issue. California is a whole other animal.
I was very close to buying a 1996 JDM Type-R with every Mugen bit possible and 40K kilometers for a whopping 7 grand. The brokers marked the car as a 4.5 out of 5. Unfortunately I was transitioning back to Hawaii and was on a time limit.
Heh...maybe in the future, being that I'm half way to JDM land.
Registering cars in Hawaii is actually a PITA.

I have the reg part allready taking care of. Thats not the issue. I can't just give that guy 20k for that 2 door. He is trying to make his money. I going to see if he would just sell the rolling shell for a good price.
