This kid is a complete dick and a post *****, maybe its 50/50, I cant decide but all i do know is he adds nothing but negativity. It is almost like he looks for people posting who are either noobs or still trial users and tries to belittle them as much as possible.
Any ways what i really wanted to know is who else has a Roth-IRA because he seems to have the impression he was special.

Just leave it alone. At 20 years old, you're not much further along in life.
By the way .... anyone can have a Roth IRA. It's just a non-taxable retirement fund set up by an individual or a custodian of said individual. A 2-year-old can have a Roth IRA.

May I ask what I did? Many people on this forum can vouch for me. Eran being one of them.
What's wrong with saving for retirement, i said I had a roth to imply that I'm kinda mature for my age in a thread where you called me a child.
you're 22 and don't even know what a Roth is.

You just happened to be unlucky I figured I had to start somewhere.
just for life's sake in general be easy on people and relax, you know for some people it is harder for them to get what they are thinking down in written form. Also for others the transition from AIM written form to proper english is impossible when typing.
For real I just want to say smoke a blunt and relax... do something to relieve the tension that causes you to be so jumpy

Earlier your profile said 22, I copied it in another thread.
I pm'd you to settle this privately. Hold control so you get the pop-up when you open/refresh a page

You are not mature for your age because you have a roth ira. You may want to THINK you are, but really, who gives a ****.

OKAY buddy
by the time you are 50, in 32 years, accounting for the speed and progression in technology the average life span is supossed to increase 10 years. So that would put your assumed death at, being reasonable since your are a male and we tend not to live as long as females, 85. so for 35 years your telling me you have a million dollars. Which would work out to roughly $28,571 a year, and with the way the economy is going your fucked.

This is assuming he never acquires a job that has a retirement plan, never gets social security, never gets any inheritance from his parents or grandparents, never puts more than $150 per month into his Roth IRA, never acquires any other form of savings, never marries and has a second source of income, and subsequently second retirement plan, social security, and savings account.
Assuming a person will be living on just on their Roth IRA is rather naive.

Caught me in the middle of my ninja edit. I was half-way typing the same thing after I thought about it. You said it 10x better than I would have.

so i cant make a mockery of the stupid things he says, social security wont be received until he is like 62+. with the way people are living inheritance are lost due to retirement homes. Average per capita income is roughly around 42,000. if he is married then lets hope for his household we can figure 84k, still quite a loss to 28k a year from the roth but lets hope she was as mature at 18. Also if the wife doesnt work then she can not have any savings really etc etc i am done with this
