brakes?
im not sure if a brake question goes here, but it seems it would. i have a 92 gsr and its time for brakes any suggesions will help budget is about $500. i was thinking brembo slotted, ebc greenstuff and earls lines maybe. what would you do?
Most will tell you that slotted and drilled rotors won't give you any increase in performance, and it's true. But they do look good.
So rotors are up to you. As far as pads, there are a few to choose from. I'd suggest you to read around for experiences that might give you a little backround on them.
I myself have brembo drilled and slotted rotors, hawk HPS pads and SS lines. My car doesnt need much for its current use so that will do for now.
But do rotors, pads and lines for under $500. What level of parts is up to you.

i was gonna go w/slotted because i always hear of the drilled cracking, have you had any trouble with yours? how do you like your hawk pads? how much did you spend?
i'm using brembo blank rotors, axxis ultimate pads and russell ss lines. I used these at the track at willow springs already and i must tell u, i'm very impressed. The braking never changed, actually got better after a few runs.
